The National Wrestling Hall of Fame, and the Connecticut Chapter, is proud to announce the induction of Governor John G. Rowland into the Hall of Fame for his “Outstanding American Award”. The Hall of Outstanding Americans are individuals who have used the disciplines of the sport to launch notable careers in other walks of life. He will be permanently recognized at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

 

The 2003 honorees for the “Lifetime of Service” award are Brian Manzi, Arthur Powers, John Vino, Carl Snitkin and Brian Crudden. These individuals have given countless hours of their time instilling in young people the skills needed to succeed in all areas of life. They too will be permanently recognized at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

 

The Hall of Fame banquet will be held Sunday, March 9. The reception will begin at 5:00 PM with the banquet with induction ceremonies following at 6:00 PM. This is an opportunity for you to honor the Governor and the other great individuals and promote the positive aspects of our oldest and greatest sport- Wrestling! A registration form is enclosed for the grand celebration. Please complete the appropriate sections and return to the address listed.

 

We look forward to March 9, a great day for Connecticut’s outstanding individuals and the sport of wrestling. Connecticut can be very proud of these deserving honorees!
