Two Connecticut Wrestlers Earn Championship Honors

In only its third year of Division I competition coaches Brian Reardon and Andy Seras have quickly transformed some very talented Connecticut-bred wrestlers into Division I champions. Two (2) Sacred Heart U. underclassmen, Jason Cucolo and Anthony Reynolds, punished their opponents on their way to the winning the finals of the Colonial Athletic Association Wrestling Championships in Harrisonburg, VA. Two other CT wrestlers also performed well. Robert Belville (157) lost in the semi-finals to the eventual champion and went on to earn 4th Place. Tommy Howe (141) wrestled to within one (1) match of earning 3rd or 4th place honors. All four underclassmen will return next year.
